Destressing with Focus

Hello dear friend!

Destressing with focus is what I'd like to ramble about this day...

It just so happens that item eleven on the stress test is... Do you frequently complain about people, places, and things?

Do you?

Do you know if you do?

My last post was about destressing 2020 with the truth. Did you read it? You can check it out by clicking here.

Let us get ready for destressing 2020 with the truth. The truth I am talking about is, connecting to God, living with purpose, and moving back to the spiritual being that you and I are.

The truth is about leveling up in life if you want to.

This can be for you! Because you are the most crucial person in your life, and you can be even more impressive than you already are if you want to.

So, I ask you... are you a complainer?

Do you frequently criticize?

I know some people who constantly complain all the time. Most of their words are criticisms, and I do not believe they even know it. I think the average person grumbles, but it is not typical to gripe all the time.

In my youth, I found a lot of fault with people, places, and things and didn't even know I was doing it. My frequent complaints about everything maintained a negative attitude.

Some people are very harmful and don't believe or even know they are. What's worse is they don't know it is not normal, and they don't know that they aren't normal. Whatever normal is, right?

So, what does all of this have to do with destressing with focus? If you have a bad attitude, it comes from focusing on the doom and gloom of life or vice versa.

Happiness or misery comes from focus.

Some individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, or despair do not like to hear that it is their focus because they don't want to believe it is their fault. It is not anyone's fault that he or she has misery, but it can be any person's responsibility to believe in the self enough to change focus.

It is my humble belief, from education, evidence, and experience, that we can focus our way into destressing our life.

When we destress, we can and do live from the Spirit.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." ~Galatians 5:22-23, Holy Bible, KJV

I've spent much time practicing my focus and teaching others too. Some discoveries I have found within this practice and teaching are: it is effortless for people who have spent time practicing focus. It takes patience, training, and a never give up attitude to cultivate and develop concentration for people who weren't taught to.

To destress with focus, one must, if they want to, remove the complaining, criticizing, dramatizing, and gossiping. This kind of attention creates misery because it is about negative aspects of life. Some people will get this, and some won't.

If you believe that complaining, criticizing, dramatizing, and gossiping are okay, this post might not be for you. If you believe this post isn't for you, with all due respect and all the kindness and love in my heart, you may want to read my post on Ignorance is Not Bliss by clicking here. ~wink~

If you believe the mentioned behaviors are not okay and would like to eliminate these miseries of life, read on.

Either way, it's all good. I don't want to improve anyone or think I know what's best for anybody. I just want to point the person asking in the direction of connecting to God and living by the fruit of the Spirit, which is the permanent stress relief in this life.

So, here I go... pointing for whoever is asking for connection to God and life by the fruit of the Spirit.

Creating a focused mind is about practicing attention on the desired things an individual wants. To destress, concentration on the wished things is required over the undesired. Governing your thoughts by desire rather than thinking by default.

So, what do you want?

Indeed, you do not want doubt, fear, and worry, which is human conditioning. Indubitably, you want calm, confidence, happiness, and health.

To destress, one must practice calm and confidence, resulting in happiness and health.

It's all about contemplation, focus, and practice into permanence.

Let's experiment, shall we?

Try this...

For seven days, choose one of the statements below, and keep it at the forefront of your mind. This is practicing a reminder to relieve an unwanted attitude. What better way to destress than by replacing a stressful behavior with a calming one?

Also, if you'd like to enhance the experiment, get a notebook and at the end of every day, write down what worked. Do not write down what didn't work. We are focusing on destressing, remember, and not stressing. ~wink~

Choose one of the mantras, aka reminders, aka statements below, and for seven days contemplate it, focus on it by keeping it at the forefront of your mind all day long, and practice it into permanence.

1. "I am focused, organized, and productive in my thoughts." I think about the benefits and blessings in life rather than the faults of what is wrong.

This was my mantra for months about twelve years ago. I was setting goals, and I would say them repeatedly, so I was reminded to stay focused, organized, and productive. It was so helpful, and it worked.

or

2. "Hocus, pocus, focus on what I want. What do I want?" This is just a fun and funny one I still use when I need to focus. I often say it to others in a playful way when we should concentrate on something particular.

or

3. "I am alert. I have a quiet mind and relaxed body." This is the best one if you need to teach yourself to relax. Can you imagine saying this all day long to yourself, practicing quieting your mind, and relaxing your body continuously? You'd be an expert at it. Repetition is the great law of learning, reconditioning, and retraining. Some people believe they can't relax and want a way to learn. This is an excellent exercise to train your brain to quiet and your body to relax.

or

4. "I appreciate and am aware of (fill in the blank here)." This statement points a person in the direction of thinking about what he or she appreciates about the person, place, or thing in front of him or her at the very moment. This is a method to the power in your now. Contemplating, focusing, and practicing this same statement is the opposite of complaining and criticizing. This exercise can and will create a more positive attitude by replacing the negative one.

Your mission, should you accept it is to pick one of the statements given above. Choose the one you believe will help you, and stick with it every day for seven days. First thing in the morning, consciously think about this thought, and it will magnificently start your day. When you lay your head on your pillow in the evening, let this thought be what you contemplate and focus on as you fall asleep.

Contemplate, focus, practice, and keep the statement you chose at the forefront of your mind so that you may enhance destressing habitual thoughts.

This can be a spiritual experiment to overcome human conditioning of negative emotions that disconnect us from God. The goal is to destress with the truth, with focus, and to move back towards the Spirit of who we are.

Make a commitment to yourself and your leveling up to do this, and watch what good things happen.

Let me know how it goes if you'd like...

Big hugs, my dear friend...

Happiness IS Success

Hello there...

Happiness and Success to Destress is the topic of this day.

How are you doing my friend?

I'm ever praying for you. For your happiness, joy, and vitality.

In recent posts I've written about Meditation, Affirmations, and Visualizations because I know the importance of using the authority we have to guard the gate of our mind, and thoughts, so that we may be thoughtful in our actions. Unfortunately the human conditioning trains us up to react in habitual, thoughtless ways to situations around us, which creates habits of negative emotions. It is our training.

You must know that we are born pure love, loving to learn, listen, love, and understand but then the human conditioning trains us to compare ourselves with others, and focus on what is wrong in life by complaining about, and criticizing others, ourselves, and things.

I have learned in my journey in life that everyone wants to love but some have a misunderstanding in that they are taught love is conditional and comes from others. I misunderstood this too.

The real truth is love comes from within, and from a connection to God.

When a person discovers the truth about love, and that it is in us to give, he or she can, and will find true happiness. That happiness is success.

Think about that for a moment.

Think about this... anything anyone wants, cars, degrees, homes, lovers, money, and/or titles, it is because they believe it will make them happy. The thing is, where ever you go, there you are. Meaning, if you are happy or unhappy these things you want will enhance the happiness or the unhappiness.

I know people with everything! All of it! And they are miserable because they bitch, and complain, and criticize, and then people have no desire to be around them. When people do not want to be around them, it just gives them more reason to be unhappy.

I know people with everything, or nothing, and they are the happiest people in the Universe because they are confident and connected to God.

Do you want more?

Could it be that you just want to be happy?

If you can see that happiness is success, and you want to be happier, love yourself enough to begin the retraining of your brain to destress your life and please consider meditating, affirming, and visualizing by desire.

You are the most important person in your life, and if you want more happiness, you can choose to use your authority and power by choosing to guard the gate of your thoughts. You have the power to choose to think better thoughts about and for you. We are intelligent beings and just because we have not been trained to focus by desire doesn't mean we can't.

It is my prayer that you appreciate and love yourself, and your life, enough to do a little work on your mind to bring you more happiness, and more success if that is what you want. If you do not believe you can, maybe you could try to believe a little more in you.

I am a witness to loving life, and to being a confident connection to God by using my authority and powers. If I can train myself, and help others to do it, you and I can help you too, if that is your desire.

The only real advice I have for you, for anyone is that you are doing really, really, really good, and if you don't know that you are, it is because you are not focused on or looking for the good that you do.

That is all...

Except, I love you, and I am ever praying for you. Never doubt that!

Spiritual Expansion

Well, Hey There!

Spiritual Expansion is the topic of this day.

How are you doing, my friend? My dear sweet friend.

I pray that you feel calm, confident, and connected to God.

In my last post, Training Your Brain to Destress, I offered the affirmation, "God loves me, God cares for me, and He is giving me all good things for my spiritual expansion."

Spiritual Expansion is always greater, increased confidence and faith, which is basically love.

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." ~1 John 4:18, New Testament, The Holy Bible, KJV

I love that scripture so much!

Spiritual Expansion is relearning the love that we are. The love that we came into this world being and that was cast out by conditioning.

Hate is the opposite of love, and so it must be fear. I never say the "H" word except when I am teaching about it because I have no hate. Therefore, there is no reason to use that word. Nevertheless, hate is taught to us and grows with practice. It is a powerful emotion and expression, but love is above it.

Love is above it all.

Love is for giving to the self and to others.

It is my humble opinion that people who hate have hate for themselves, and it is displayed outward toward others and certain things.

Hate is the strongest negative emotion, and love is the strongest affirmative emotion that gives energy.

Do you love yourself?

Crazy question, I know! But the craziest part is that if you dislike or even hate yourself, you are not only harming your future and life, you are draining your energy.

In this ramble, I am trying to say that God loves you, cares for you, and gives you all good things. Anyone can and will see this if they are willing to stop hating and start looking for the lesson in the things they proclaim to hate.

In my humble opinion, the lesson is always faith, love, and patience, usually towards the self. The task truly is an exquisite focus on trusting God.

It is human conditioning to focus on what is wrong, for example:

A person may hate themselves because they aren't good-looking enough, rich enough, slim enough, smart enough, or young enough, and so they are so focused on that hate that they are too busy to appreciate what they are and what they have.

Appreciation is the truth.

Appreciation feels very close to love, and when we focus exquisitely on what we appreciate and love, we can and will feel much more joy.

There is so much good in this world than there is wrong, and no one can say that I am asking anyone to ignore the bad; I am just saying focus on what is right!

Appreciation is the key!

Love is the truth!

With an exquisite focus on appreciation and love for others and the self, anyone can and will expand spiritually.

You just gotta practice and never give up!

Affirm and remind yourself daily, hourly, and moment by moment.

I have a very joyful life, and it is all because of God and the blessing from practicing appreciation, love, and never giving up on God or me, EVER!

Connecting to God is a constant practice, which is the authority and power I choose.

We have a choice, and if you do not believe you do, you just may not believe in yourself.

If you do not believe in yourself, you may not appreciate and love yourself enough.

That's all I got, my friend!

Appreciation and love for God, for life, and for you!

Hocus, pocus, focus!

Practice makes perfect permanence!

That's what life is all about!

God bless you, my dear friend.

Ever praying for your calm, confidence, and connection to God. That is the healing.

That is my passion, and my purpose in serving the Lord.

May God bless you with more authority and power to focus on your benefits and blessings.

Relationship With God

Hello! Hello!

How are you?

Praying, praying, ever praying you are okay!

Responding to a request that I write about how I have a close relationship with God.

But first, let me preface this post with the idea that I write this for one reason and one reason only...

I will write about my relationship with God because I have hope and a prayer in my heart that this will help anyone, someone, or even just one. The help I hope and pray for is pointing a person in the direction of relief from any stress he or she may have. The pressure I talk about is the mental and emotional strain of fear, which is the opposite of love.

My relationship with God is based on a

DEEP DOWN IN MY HEART AND SOUL FAITH AND LOVE FOR GOD AND ALL MANKIND.

REALLY!!!

FAITH AND LOVE.

And this is not the superficial kind where I go to church on Sunday, feel and profess the Love of God, and then go about my business throughout the week, forgetting about this love and faith I have for the Divine and others.

In fact, there is no segregation between my personal life and my professional life. I believe we are all brothers and sisters in this world. I know we are sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. I love no matter what, and I serve no matter what.

Jesus Christ said in Matthew Chapter 21, Verse 22, "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."

For most of the first half of my life, I suffered enormously, with profound moments of despair and confusion about my worth. There was always an asking God for a connection to Him in that despair and confusion. My continued, never-ending asking brought more and more connection.

In Mathew Chapter 22, Verses 37 through 40, Jesus answers the question, which is the great commandment in the law, and He says, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and all the prophets."

I love these two scriptures because they are the way to a closeness with God.

Asking, faith and love.

Ask, have faith, and love!!!

Pretty good affirmations, mantras, and reminders, wouldn't you agree?

I know, without a doubt, that God loves me, and I am to ask, have faith, and love Him and others.

So, I have been asking, faithing, and loving.

I know, without any doubt, that my asking has brought me evidence, which has led to my knowing God is real.

I know, without a doubt, that my faith in God gives me confidence, happiness, energy, joy, and vitality; therefore, this knowledge is why I maintain and sustain my relationship with Him.

MY FAITH AND MY LOVE FOR EVERYTHING ON THIS EARTH, ABOVE IT AND BELOW IT, ENHANCE MY CLOSENESS, MY CONNECTION, AND MY COOPERATION WITH GOD.

Faith, love, closeness, connection, and cooperation with the Divine eliminate doubt, fear, and worry, which is what destressing yourself is all about.

In my journey thus far, I have discovered that there are two emotions: fear and love. Every emotion falls under one or the other.

I have also discovered that all negative emotions fall under fear. For the most part, I have released my fear and negative emotions, which is how and why I love so much.

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."~ 1 John 4:18, New Testament, The Holy Bible, KJV

Please! Please! Please!

Understand, I have practiced this love over fear for many, many, many years, and I have pointed multiple people in the direction of finding their practice of destressing, i.e., overcoming fear and living in love.

Certainly, I am not perfect at it, so I continue to practice every day.

An important thing I have discovered is that years of conditioning are very powerful. My anger, anxiety, depression, and despair were practiced for years and were all very strong.

Without God, meditation, and study, I could not and would not know what I know about asking, faith, and love and continue to practice it.

Something else significant is that human conditioning trains us to beat ourselves up, which is not conducive to love and/or faith in ourselves. Love and faith in ourselves are part of the path to a genuine connection to God.

I practice the art and skill of NOT beating myself up or criticizing myself. This is a huge part of connecting to God and creating life's happiness, energy, and vitality.

I know I am not better than anyone, and my value and worth have everything to do with communicating, connecting, and cooperating with God.

I know we are all critical to God, and what is essential to God is vital to me. That is what life is about, knowing spiritual things and living that knowing.

That is the crux of my relationship with God.

Praying for your asking, faithing, and loving.

That's all I got, my friend.

God bless...

Connecting to God

Well Hello!

How are you doing today? I pray that you are happy, healthy, and wealthy! (insert me winking here)

In my last post, I wrote about letting go of stress by appreciating it more. Did you read it? If so, did you practice appreciation more?

When we feel appreciation, we are so close to the feeling of love, and it's a great way of connecting to God.

The scriptures say to be thankful for all things. They also say God is love and abides in us when we love. Appreciation is very close to the feeling of love, and loving others is an excellent way of connecting to God.

When we connect to God, we feel good, and that's why people may attend church every Sunday or when times are hard. When times are difficult, everyone wants to feel better, and that's why we turn to God; we feel better, we feel good, we feel love, and we feel relief from our stress.

With all my heart and soul, I hope you took upon yourself the mission to practice appreciation by searching for the good in others, the environment in which you stand, and yourself.

I also hope and pray that you will practice loving the person before you, your environment, and yourself more. When you do, you connect to God, which relieves stress; it destresses you!

It's all about focus and practicing for permanence. We have the free agency to choose what we focus on. We can choose thoughts of happiness or heartache. We can choose to heal our beliefs, behaviors, and emotions, or we can choose to hurt them. Desire versus default.

Holding on tightly in your mind to what is wrong makes it difficult to see what is right and makes it challenging to heal.

Hold on tight to what is right, what you appreciate, what you are thankful for, and what there is to love in life, and let what's wrong dissipate and fall away; it's the law of faith.

If you find no things to appreciate or love, it may be a significant indicator that you are out of practice.

What about appreciating the simple things like eyes to see with, a nose to smell with, a tongue to taste delicious food, arms to hug your loved ones with, legs to walk on, ears to hear awesome music, and family and friends that are always there for you?

My dear, sweet friend, I pray that you may consider connecting to God in these significant ways of practicing appreciation and love more.

That's all I have, except a prayer held tight in my heart that you will consider these things for yourself because you are the most critical person in your life and are very important to God and me.

God bless.

Take care.

Love is For Giving...

Hello there...

How are you? I pray that you are doing super duper allie ooper this day.

Oh muh goodness, it's been a while since I have blogged but it is always on my mind because of my amazing readers whom I love so very much. Forgive me for my absence, please?!?

My life is always busy, but I love to blog because of the interaction with my readers, and in my heart I truly am a writer.

Within my racing mind I seem to find myself contemplating, and wanting to write about love, a lot. Matter of fact, I am quite confident I truly know what unconditional love is.  Seriously!

Through out my 51 years of living, I do believe that I have had glimpses of love, but now I have nothing but love.

When I was a bit younger, and people spoke of unconditional love, I heard, "blah, blah, blah." lol

Now, I know, without a doubt what love is.

At this point you are probably wondering why dear young hearted Elizabeth is rambling about love.

Well, love is the ultimate antidote to stress.  Love can, and will de-stress your life right here, right now.

Love is the optimum emotion and it feels like bliss.

What I have come to believe about love is, you can give it effortlessly if you have it. Therefore, if you have love for yourself, you can easily give love to others. But, if you do not have love for yourself, you are unable to give it so easily without conditions.

In my younger years I had close to zero love for myself. The first half of my adult life I was a very angry person with anxiety, depression, and debt. My moods were uncontrolled and therefore, I was a very mean person to others and myself. Oh, I was nice too but I could be really mean.

Now, after a lot of practice, I'm starting to believe, I do not have it in me to be mean.

When someone, say like in customer service, is unkind to me, I say a little prayer for them in my heart, and I will ask them if they are alright?

In the past I would be offended that they were not nice, and then I would go on and on about how I thought they should be nice.

The thing is, I desire to give people the benefit of the doubt in my mind because I want people to give me the benefit of the doubt in their mind.

I love myself enough to think thoughts that make me feel better, and that includes thinking the better thought about the other person.

It may sound weird to you, or you may get it when I say, I have no opinion on the way another person should be, I just want to love them because I love myself enough to do that.

Ponder this for a moment... If I am offended by something someone does, I feel like poop! In contrast, if I choose to give the other person the benefit of the doubt, and understand some people are dealing with difficulties, I feel so much better.

Destressing yourself is about behaving in ways that allow us to feel better!

Besides, it is not our job, nor our purpose, in life to control the way another person acts.

But, it truly is part of our purpose to govern our own thoughts, and it takes practice. The first step to choosing to think better thoughts about another, or a situation, is loving yourself enough to do it.

When we don't require people to be a certain way, in our mind, we live the "un" in unconditional love.

See! I told you I know what unconditional love is, ~wink, wink~

What I am trying to say is, we may relieve the stress in our life if we love ourselves enough to think better thoughts that make us feel good.

When we have love for the self, we have love for others, and love is for giving.

I love love, I love life, I love my life, and I love you.

For much of my youth, negative emotions were my ball and chain. These negative emotions kept me in the bitter hell of suicidal ideations. It is safe to say that now because it's been years since I have felt that way.

Within the span of twenty-five years I have talked thousands of people out of anxiety attacks, probably hundreds out of suicide, and sometimes as many as two in a week.

Participation in the Emergency Field has given me the experience of knowing personally, about a dozen of individuals who have successfully committed suicide, and three of them were my dear friends, whom I dearly love.

Because of my experiences, I do what I do, and I have discovered, through helping others and myself, suicide can be prevented. In addition, negative emotions are not necessary, and much of crisis and despair may be removed by finding love for the self.

This is what I really want you to hear...

If you are having a hard time in life because of stress, I earnestly want to convince you to be kinder to yourself. Think kinder thoughts about yourself and give others the benefit of the doubt so that you may feel better feelings.

Furthermore my friend, sweeter thoughts like having faith the best outcome will happen rather than fear that the worst thing will come to pass will, in fact, make you feel better.

Your thoughts really do matter!

I love you...

You know I do...

THREE EASY WAYS TO BE HAPPIER

Hi! Hi! Hi!  How are you?  Am pre goo...  Thanks for asking.

I read an article yesterday that talked about four easy ways to be happier, and they said, do good deeds, get exercise, get hugged, and get a pet.

Hmmm...

Okay, I agree with doing good deeds, getting hugged, and exercise, but I don't know about getting a pet.  Seems to me people are awful busy these days, and a pet can be extra stressful if you don't have time to take care of them, and if you don't take care of them, they die.  How stressful is that?

Just a little tangent there.

This is what I got...

1.  Learn to love easily and you will be very inclined to do good deeds and get hugs.

2.  Have fun and be playful.  This one is very tough for some peeps.  When I say have fun and be playful, it all starts in the mind, your mind, which means to look at things differently.  Don't look at life so seriously, in other words.  I know so many people who are so stressed out that they cannot, or rarely, have fun and are playful.  Seriousness is just a habit, just as easily as having fun and being playful is.

3.  Spend time doing things you love.  People often tell me, but I don't got no time to do things I love Elizabeth.  My thoughts, "Who's choice is that?"  You are the boss of you, just like I am the boss of me.  If you choose to work long hours, or fill your schedule with things you don't love that is just a choice.

Disagree with me?  I bet you may.

Maybe you are saying, I don't have money, and I need to work long hours.  If that is true, talk to me!  I bet you that if you found your passion, you could spend an hour a day working on it until it became something you could create an income from.

Maybe you are saying, life is serious Elizabeth.  Well, that is just a belief, and anyone, even me, can easily change a belief.  Anyone, even me, can retrain the brain to think life is fun just as easily as life is serious.

Maybe you are saying, I use to love easily Elizabeth, but look where it got me?  It got me hurt, it got me burned, or it got me distress.  My friend, we have all been hurt, burned, or distressed, and that is all a part of our learning experience in this lovely life.  I don't know your personal story but I do know this, if we love, and love easily, we are feeling the most positive emotion there is on earth, and guess where that gets us?  That is correct, it gets us happy.

We, you and me, are either feeling towards hate or we are feeling towards love.  We can go one way or the other, and I choose to love.  I love love, and I love easily.  It wasn't easy at first, I was one bitter Mama.  But I figured out that hate made me feel bad, and that love made me feel good.

So that is my three easy ways to be happier...  learn to love easily, have fun/be playful, and spend time doing things you love.  Which one's are you doing, or not doing?  Which ever one you are not doing, choose to do it, this week.  Heck!  Right Now!

That's all I got in the way of destressing.

Have a great day.

Speak soon...

BIG HUGS...

AM I CRAZY?

Hey hey, the weekend is here, WOOOT WOOOT!!!

Not that it really matters because everyday is a weekend to me.  Ooops...  did I say that out loud?

Mwhuahahaha!!!
Just kidding.
No, I'm not really.
Yes, I am.
NO I'M NOT.

My Mom has been saying to me, for over 40 years ;), "Don't do that, people will think you're crazy!"  But I am crazy Mom.

She cracks me up.  The other day I asked her, "Mom, do you ever talk to yourself?  I mean do you ever find yourself talking to yourself, out loud, when no one else is around?"  And she said, with a shocked face and voice, "NO!  WHY, DO YOU?"

Me, "Yes I do, all the time, and I have been doing it as long as I can remember."

It's funny because of the way she reacted, like she thinks, and just discovered, that I am crazy.  She should really know by now that her daughter is crazy.

According to American societal standards, I really am crazy, you know?

For some insane reason, I am a rebel to societies standards.

One of the craziest things I do, according to society, is I love you.  I don't even know you and I love you!  You gotta admit that's pretty crazy, huh?  See, even you agree that I am crazy.

Another thing I do is, I love the unlovable.  I love the person who is a pain in the bootay (according to society).

For example, when I was doing my internship at the University, there was this one girl, she was so stuck on herself that she took her student loans and got a new pair of teets.  That's right, I said teets.  She was really beautiful but very self-centered.  The only thing everyone in the counseling center could talk about was her, and what they were saying was not nice.  Well, I love her!  She is my friend!  She is unlovable, to others, but she is lovable to me.

Another thing I do is, I love very easily.  I can fall in love with you after one conversation.  Crazy?  Yup!  I love people, I love to love, and all I want to do is love.

Earlier this year, I met this man, who I began to work with.  We had so much fun talking, and laughing.

And then...dun, dun, dun.  I told him that he was lovable.  Guess what his reaction was?  It is my humble opinion that he freaked out just a little bit.  He said, in this weird tone he never used before "You know Elizabeth, I like you a lot and, hu'em, I enjoy your company..."  Blah, blah, blah don't love me, I am afraid of love, love is a BIG WORD, I am not ready for that BIG WORD!

HA HA HA!!!

It was so hilarious to me because he was freaked out because he thought I was going to love him.  Well guess what?  I already did love him because that's the way I am.  And, I tell people all the time that they are lovable!

You are lovable, by the way ;)

Why are we so afraid of love?  When I say we, I mean our society.  I kid you not, when I am in a conversation with someone, and I am enjoying them, I think in my head, "I love this person."  Wouldn't they feel just a little awkward if I said it out loud to their face?

Crazy?  OH YEAH!

But guess what?  To children, teenagers, and young adults, I am not crazy.  They love me too.  Kids love me.  Teenagers love me.  Young adults love me.

Do you know, some of my bestest friends in the whole wide world are between the ages of 21 and 28?  I have several bestest friends that I spend my time with and many are between the ages of 21 and 28, well except two.  Oh!  No!  Three.  I am 47.

I don't say all this to brag, I say it because it's cool.

Why is that, do you think?  Why are my friends so young?

When we come to earth, we are playful, pure love, faith, and curiosity.  As we get older, people around us fill us with fear and dislike.

"Don't do this or that because this will happen."

"I hate it when you do that."

"You better do that or you won't succeed."

"I hate it when he does that."

"I don't like her, I don't know why, I just don't."

The reason young people love me, besides that I am a playful goof off, is because they know love, they are familiar with it, and it is still appealing to them.  Some older (I SAID SOME) people are stressed, serious, really good at disliking stuff, they find it odd to love so easily, and find playfulness annoying.

Crazy?  You decide.

So what is the point to all this crazy talk in this crazy post by this crazy woman?

I think (this might be crazy) that my craziness creates a very fun life for me.  I have a lot of fun!  I really do!  I laugh a lot, and I truly enjoy life.

You wanna laugh a lot?  Try this...

Treat everyone like you love them.  Do it just for one day.  And, say in your head, when you are talking to someone, I love this person.  You will crack yourself up.  You will say, "That Elizabeth is crazy."  But it will be fun.  Make your day fun intentionally.

If you are talking to someone that irritates you, do it.  You will crack yourself up and remove your thoughts from your irritations.

Do it for one day.  Love easily, and love everybody.  It'll be fun and funny.  You crazy person you!

And if you are REALLY CRAZY, see if you can do it for a week.  If you like it, and you will if you like to have fun and be playful ;), make it a habit.

"Master, which is the great commandment in the law?  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."  ~Matthew 22:36-40, New Testament, Holy Bible

That's all I got!

LOVE YOU!  HAVE FUN WITH THIS ONE!  BE PLAYFUL, YOU CRAZY YOU!!!
