Is Life Hard for You Right Now?

Hey, hey, my dear reader!

How are you doing?

I'm praying that you are alright, but if you aren't, I'm hoping this blog post will touch your heart so that you may have comfort and strength.

Some say we are going through some difficult times right now. Is that so for you?

Are you having a hard time?

Are you in imminent danger?

Are you losing everything?

Do you still have everything but are afraid you will lose everything?

What is the absolute worst thing that could happen?

What are you worried about?

These are critical questions!

I ask these questions because I'd like to help you confront fears and maybe point you towards relief.

Please stay with me. I understand that words can make a person angry when stressed, but I'll be asking you to consider some things. Words cannot relieve suffering, and I understand that too but opening yourself to pondering some things may.

There was a time in my life when I lost what seemed like nearly everything.

That was a long, long time ago, and I know I am a much better person for the experience. In other words, I have come a long way and learned a lot because of my spiritual growth.

I believe with all my heart and soul that sometimes life gives us hard times, and although it seems we will not survive, we actually come out better for it.

Every soul on earth goes through emotional and mental struggles. This struggle can feel like we are going to die. Can you remember a time in your past experienced this kind of sorrow?

It doesn't necessarily help to go back to the suffering, but it does help to consider how you've grown and learned from it.

Have you contemplated the thought that we go through trials for our emotional and mental strengthening?

Have you pondered whether most of us turn to God when things are complex and not when things are good?

What if we never go through hardship, never turn to God, and never expand spiritually?

What if we go through sorrow, turn to God, and are strengthened spiritually?

When we turn to God and receive comfort and strength, are we not lifted emotionally and mentally?

When we turn to God and are lifted emotionally and mentally, do we not discover how real He is?

Heavenly Father is likened to a loving parent that allows his or her child to go through life experiences, knowing that this child is intelligent and robust and will figure it all out. Also, knowing that this child will be resilient and self-sufficient from these experiences.

Human conditioning sometimes convinces us that we can't handle things, but we can. Human training sometimes makes us afraid of the future, which can make a person crazy with stress.

Stress is the number one cause of every illness!

Stress is the culprit of insecurity and thoughtless reactions.

Confidence is the gateway to thoughtful solutions to all problems.

Human conditioning sometimes trains us up in fear, aka stress. Spirituality is the emotional and mental growth required to sustain faith, the opposite of anxiety.

Spiritual growth can and will teach us that we can work faith over fear out in our minds. Spiritual growth will teach us that we can, in fact, turn to Heavenly Father on our knees and ask Him for His help. When that help comes, we expand spiritually through our experience of faith.

If you are having a hard time, I would like to encourage you with all the love in my heart.

This is what I know for sure!

God loves you, cares for you, and gives you all good things for your spiritual expansion.

You can know this, too, by turning to your Heavenly Father and asking Him for comfort and strength.

You can also know this by giving thought to the lesson of life. My humble experience has always taught me faith, patience, and trust.

Faith in God, He is in charge, and He is right there with all of us. We just have to reach for Him.

Patience is practice.

Trust in God and yourself that you can and will handle 'it.' Whatever 'it' is.

Faith, patience, and trust, my dear friend!

I have a scriptural prayer held tight in my heart for you, and it is that you will know:

"The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." ~Exodus 14:14, The Holy Bible, KJV

The Lord has fought and fights for you and me. Let us continue to reach for Him in purposeful prayer, and never give up!

God bless you, my dear reader.

Ever praying for your comfort, faith, patience, strength, and trust.

CAN YOU PLEASE SLOW DOWN?

how to destress, how to destress yourself

Hey hey!  How are you?  I am absolutely fantabulous.  It is my son's 25th birthday today and we are gonna partayy!!!  (hopefully not too late, he he he, I gotta bed time c:)

Just wanted to talk a little about the stressful habit of always being in a hurry.  When I am in the city (because I live in the boonies) I notice that quite a few people are in a hurry and they act like someone is gonna die if they don't get a move on.  YIKES!

Being in a hurry is very very dangerous because horrible things happen when we are in a rush and so we can prevent a lot of mishaps by slowing down a little bit.

I remember a few years back we were going to have a bar-b-q and my friend got a call from the hospital that his Dad was in an accident.  It was a bit scary, so I was trying to hurry and I dropped a big bag of ice on my toe and broke my toe.  I looked up into the sky and said, "thank you Lord."  I did this because at age 39, I knew, and know, that when something like that happens there is a lesson, and the Lord allows things to happen in order for us to build our faith, patience, and trust, which sometimes means slow down.

Please please please, don't wait for something to happen to you because you are in a hurry when you can create tons of prevention just by slowing down.

Just notice if you have a state of being in a hurry.  Maybe in the morning you are always in a hurry, or when you have to pick your kids up, or on the way to work.  Just notice it, and if it is so, slow your bootay down.

I know that it is not necessary to be in a hurry, it is just a habit really, especially for city folks.  It's called impatience.

Can you please slow down?  Just wondering...

Have a great day and don't forget...

Have fun and be playful.
