Destressing Deep Despair

Hello my dear reader...

Happy Sunday...

Destressing Deep Despair is what I'd like to discuss this day.

Some of you may have other things pressing on you besides world news. You may have personal crisis or difficulties that are causing deep despair.

If you do, please let me help and try to point you in the direction of destressing any despair.

If I could just bring you to the future, maybe a year or two from now, you may find yourself saying, "Oh my goodness, I really was freaked out over (insert whatever you might be struggling with now)."

Do you remember the hard times in the past and how you are doing much better, than then, now?

When I was a young, unwed, pregnant woman, thirty four years ago, I was in great turmoil. Could you imagine? What was I going to do? How was I going to support myself? How on earth was I going to raise another human being when I still needed growing up myself?

I was more afraid of the future than I ever was. The best part of it all is, having my son was the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I've learned to love like I have never loved before. I've learned that I am brave, courageous, resilient, and full of tenacity.

We all have the capability to see how the struggle can and will make us stronger. That strength I am talking about is the faith, patience, and trust in God.

This faith, patience, and trust in God is within us, we just have to practice it. We can reach for it within our mind, and practice it moment to moment.

Think about your past for a second.

When were you in despair before, prayed to your Heavenly Father, and then an answered prayer came? If you really think about it, sometimes it was immediate, and sometimes it was delayed a little while.

Were you ever in financial crisis, and relief came?

Were you ever in deep loneliness, or sadness, and relief came?

Were you ever in a dark place because of health, and prayers were answered?

Did you ever have a relationship end, and you thought it was the end of the world but you survived?

We can look in the past at our struggles and suffering, and see with clarity, the relief always came. The relief will always come.

I have suffered very much, and without going into detail, I have come to know a great lesson, and that is... everything is going to be alright, no matter what, because it always is. It always works out.

If we could but know, it always works out, before we freak out in our mind over the future, on what might happen, we can have serenity in our soul.

The crux of fear, aka insecurity, is we can freak out over the future, and our mind can make us crazy because we believe the thoughts we are thinking. Sometimes it's not so easy to relieve despair in another person, because of frightening thoughts of the future.

I've helped thousands of people in despair and there are two things I know for sure: first, people will argue for their despair, and you cannot argue with fear. Therefore, I let them work it out, in their mind, and with God. Arguing with despair becomes about being right, and I do not need, or want to be right.

Second, people who are in their lowest place, and want to suffer no more, will try almost anything to relieve the sorrow. Wanting relief from despair is probably why so many people, in anguish, are willing to listen, and can hear God's words.

The difference between the two, I present above, about despair are arguing, and listening. Arguing to be right because the insecure person is tired of being wrong. And listening for respite because the person is tired of a weary soul.

If you are in deep despair, and weary, because of what is going on in your life, and/or the world, I have listed links to posts below, and hopefully it will help you, if you need it.

I just want to point you towards healing, if you need it, and if you want it. That's all I can do, is be here for you.

There is a lot going on in the world right now, and I have faith that everything is alright, and that everything is going to get even better. My belief is based on my faith in God, life, others, and myself.

God bless you my dear reader...

Ever praying for your comfort, and strength.

Ever here for you when you need it.

Speak soon...

Why Meditation?

Hello...

Why I meditate and why I want to teach the world to meditate are the topics I wanna ramble about this day.

How are you? Summer is here in the United States, and people are busy, busy, busy.

When people are busy, busy, busy, they tend to get the momentum of the hurry-up disease, which causes anxiety and a lack of awareness of self and others.

As a young single mother, I was always busy and had a hurry-up disease momentum. This hurry-up disease has no mercy on the soul. The habit of being in a hurry does not allow for time to think about others or actions of the self because the focus is to hurry and get things done.

Let me tell you about my actions when I had the hurry-up disease. My most prevalent behaviors were anger, anxiety, complaining, criticism, debt, depression, drama, exhaustion, inappropriateness, insecurity, insomnia, irritability, moodiness, negativity, overeating, and worry. Just to name a few ~wink, wink~

All of these habits I mentioned I call addictions because an addiction, in my mind, is something a person believes he or she cannot quit. Individuals get so good at practicing a particular behavior they tend to live with the belief that they cannot stop that behavior.

Some people believe they have to hurry, hurry, hurry. Some people think they cannot quit their anger, anxiety, depression, despair, moodiness, or worry. No matter the action, it's just like an addiction. A person has to want to quit and begin to believe he or she can change.

Practice makes habits of permanence, whether they are thoughts, feelings, or actions!

Connecting to God and meditating has helped and still does help me lessen the negative behaviors I speak of above. I have been meditating since 1999 and have, I believe, eliminated much of my past harmful addictions/behaviors. I have mostly eliminated anger, anxiety, depression, and despair.

If something even tries to annoy me within seconds, I giggle because God and meditation have taught me that when I quiet my mind, I realize that life is not as serious as I used to make it out to be.

Please believe me when I say I know I am human and not perfect. Therefore, I keep practicing daily because I do not think one can or does become perfect without negative beliefs and behaviors. Practicing permanence is more of what life is about rather than perfection. When we make things permanent, we leverage habitual human behavior.

Meditation is simply the quieting of the mind, which gives awareness to the thoughts, feelings, and actions of the self and a greater connection to God. This awareness and connection allow one to recognize the negative thoughts, feelings, and actions and intentionally change them to more enlightening, inspiring, motivating, and positive thoughts, feelings, and actions.

The quiet mind allows one to practice the feelings of calmness, confidence, relaxation, and safety, which are the opposite of stress.

I have meditated for twenty years, and I know no one, personally, with more consistent joy than me. I do not say that to brag. I say that to convince you of the incredible pleasure God and meditation have brought me.

God and this joy I speak of have brought me out of the depths of despair and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Now I am the opposite person of whom I was 27 years ago (that's half my age, by the way). That, my friend, is the greatest thing of them all because I was miserable much of the time, and now I am in bliss most of the time.

I love life!

Could you imagine profound, deep, deepest moments of despair to the point of not wanting to live and then becoming so in love with life? That question is a primary reason I write this blog in hopes of helping my brother or sister here on earth. To help anyone I can, go from misery to joy.

The very act of moving from misery to joy is why I want to teach the world to meditate!

Could you imagine someone (possibly you) living in constant or periodic crisis, discovering meditation, making it a practice, and then never knowing or even experiencing crisis again? Could you imagine being in a state of confidence no matter what happens because you know how to remain calm and connected to God?

I have talked thousands of people out of their state of anxiety, and the way I did it was by remaining calm and talking to them through quieting their bodies, mind, and soul. Quieting others like that is something a person can do for themselves regularly and through regular meditation practice.

I have talked to many suicidal individuals and done it from a calm place, pointing them towards calming themselves and their faith in themselves, life, and others. Building on belief comes from a connection to God and a meditative mind of relaxation and feeling secure.

It may sound like I am boasting, and I am, but I do not boast of myself. I boast of God and practicing meditation.

All that calming and faith is much more complicated than just a few words of explanation. But, I know no other way than connecting to God and regular meditation practice that creates the success of bringing the self, as well as other people, from crisis to calm. There is no way I could have ever done what I have done, and still do, for others, and myself, if it weren't for my connection to God and my meditation practice that enhances that connection.

I shall meditate until the end of my days because life just improves.

I shall teach people to meditate until the end of my days because I see more and more success.

So... that, my friend, is why I meditate and want to teach the world to meditate.

The best part is that meditation doesn't take long at all. Five minutes a day is where anyone can begin. That five minutes can and will help anyone bring that quiet mind to the full force of the present moment at any time and anywhere.

You can begin by listening to the five-minute meditation video I created by clicking this link. The only thing required is focusing on the sounds. You can have your eyes closed or open. It's a start. Every journey begins with one simple step, eh?

I pray that I have inspired you to meditate so that you may develop a calm, sure, and confident mind. So you may learn what a constant state of relaxation, safety, and security feels like. So you may eliminate any anger, anxiety, depression, or any other negative emotion, especially despair.

Warning! Warning! Warning!

Once you meditate, you can never go back!

What I mean by that is that if you begin to meditate, you will become so aware of your beliefs and behaviors that when you continue the meditation, life just gets better and better and better because you become more connected to God. That connection to God becomes obvious via guidance and inspiration toward others, you, and your future.

When a person meditates, he/she begins to feel so good that if that person stops the meditation practice, the negative emotions experienced in the past become so much more intense. I believe that when an individual discontinues a meditation practice, the negative emotion becomes so much more profound because the feeling of good from meditation is so powerful. That contrast is so clear that anyone would long for that special good feeling place.

It takes practice to make permanent, and so one must continue meditation to remain in that good feeling place of a calm, clear, confident connection to the true self and God.

That connection, my friend, is authentic, which is precisely why I will meditate to the end of my days and possibly beyond.

Nothing is more important to me than being connected to God! There are not enough money, recognition, or titles in the world more important to me than knowing, talking, and walking with God. I've been asking for that closeness and connection for the whole of my life! And, if you feel the same way, you will learn to make time for meditation.

Have a wonderful weekend and the week ahead.

Take good care!

Hug, hug, hug...

I love you...

Do You Have an Open Mind?

Hello! Hellol!

How to destress yourself with an open mind is what I want to talk about today.

Hey, hey!  How are you?  I hope you are having the time of your life, I really do.

In my last post I wrote about

The Three Most Important Things When Destressing Despair.

Did you happen to read it?

The first thing, of the three, is having an open mind. So, I thought I'd just discuss that a little bit.

Do you believe you have an open mind?

When an individual has an open mind, he or she wants to learn, and listens for possibilities, is teachable, and willing to try new things.

When an individual has a closed mind, he or she may not necessarily be open to information that may be a healing help to them.

The healing help I am talking about is the journey to happiness. Happiness is healing the emotional hurt, and emotional hurt is negative emotion.

When a person is angry, anxious, depressed, and/or in despair he or she may be suffering and unhappy.

When a person is unhappy, what he or she is doing is probably not working, and having an open mind can, and will assist in the possibilities of new things that can, and will relieve the sorrow.

Do you believe you have an open mind?

Are you willing to try something new that may possibly enhance your life for you?

Do you believe your life needs enhancing?

Some people believe their life needs enhancing, and some people don't.

I'm here to help those who want an enhancing. ~wink~

But if you don't want an enhancing, I say, and think that's cool too...

Have you ever meditated?

Have you ever created and applied affirmations?

Have you ever visualized what you really want out of life?

The reason I ask these questions is because I preach meditation, to quiet the anxious and worried mind, affirmations, to assist in new habit forming, and visualizations for inspiration and self motivation.

Some people struggling with negative emotions are unwilling to try any of the things mentioned above because sometimes people who are having a hard time with despair have shut down to learning new things, which is basically closing the mind.

Are you willing to open your mind and destress yourself by trying new things?

Are you willing to destress yourself by practicing meditation?

Are you willing to destress yourself by applying affirmations that will assist in creating new habits?

Are you willing to destress yourself by visualizing what you want, in order to overcome the stressful habits of doubt, fear, and worry?

If you said yes to these questions, awesome!

If you said no to these questions, and you are distressed, then chances are, you may have a closed mind to hope.

Could you consider new things like learning to meditate, create affirmations, and visualize?

I have meditated, affirmed, and visualized for years now, and it is the most effective goal obtaining enhancers in the world.  Trust me on this one!

Everyone affirms and visualizes. Did you know that? The worried person affirms and visualizes his or her doubts and fears by default. I'm suggesting to set the intention of affirming and visualizing by desire, and meditation helps with that process.

I have clients who have learned to meditate, affirm, and visualize, and they have made explosive jumps in their personal and professional performance.

What do you think?

I kid you not, this stuff is amazing, you just have to be willing to try something new to change your life from stress to destress, if you think you need to.

If you have never meditated, affirmed, or visualized intentionally, and are unwilling to do such for yourself, thinking this stuff won't help your despair, or unhappiness for that matter, you may have a closed mind. Part of that closed mind comes from the  unwillingness to do anything for the self. When we are unwilling to do anything for the self, the next step is to work on believing in the self.

If you don't have a lot of faith in yourself, and you do open your mind to trying new techniques, you may just begin to see your real value, and your real worth. When a person realizes his or her value and worth, he or she begins to believe in the self more.

When a person learns to believe in his or herself, that person begins to discover his or her true capabilities and power. Then, that person begins to open his or her mind even more, knowing that he or she is the only one who can make his or her life an amazing one or a suffering one.

What I am trying to say in all of this ramble is, an open mind will get you somewhere you want to be and if your mind has been closed off to new things you may want to try something new like meditation, affirmations, and visualizations.

If you do want to open your mind a little bit more and try, please stay tuned for the next posts on how to apply the meditation, affirmation, and visualization techniques.

Okay dokay pokay?!?

Have a great day!

Have a great week!

I love you Sugah!

Relieving Despair

Hello my friend. How are you doing today? I pray that you are doing okay. I always ask how you are doing because I care! I understand that I can't hear your response, and I just want you to know I have a prayer in my heart for you, for the one whom is having a hard time or suffering.

For many years I suffered with despair, and through those years there were many people who were there for me. These individuals listened to me, and loved me no matter what. When I look back I know that I would not have survived if it weren't for them. They never abandoned me no matter how crazy or negative I was.

Now, I want to be that person for others that they were for me.

Despair is when a person loses all hope, it is when a person rather die than live, and it could create suicidal thoughts.

In my experience, the number one way to relieve despair is a person must have an open mind, and be willing to learn.

If I said to you that you could relieve your despair if you'd try certain things, to see what works but you are unwilling to try anything because you believe no things will work, that would be a very closed mind, and that could be the very obstacle to any relief.

Life is like a science experiment of trying what works and doing more of what works. If you are doing things that do not work repeatedly it could create constant havoc.

Do you suffer from despair?

Wouldn't you like some relief?

Do you have an open mind?

If you answered yes to all of the above, I'd like to propose you try something for an entire week to see if it works, and if it does, keep doing it.

What I'd like to propose is for you to be for others, what you need others to be for you. The reason I offer this is because I know that when we help others we feel better, and feeling better will relieve despair.  Also, when we are in the service of others we forget our own troubles, and despair is trouble.

Often times when we are in despair, we are so focused on what is wrong in our life that the despair gains momentum, and the feelings get unbearable.

What a person needs, when in despair, is for another to learn by listening and loving, and trying to understand.

So! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to learn about others by listening and loving, and trying to understand. No advice giving, no judging, and no words! Just learn, listen, love, and understand. That's it! For an entire week to see if it relieves your despair, and if you aren't in despair, try it anyway and see what amazing things come out of it! I'll do it with you!

Everyday, for at least a week, remind yourself this, "I will learn by listening and loving and try to understand! No words, just learn, listen, love, and understand!"

Do that, and watch yourself feel better, and feel God even more because all good things come from God, and what you are doing is not only good, it is great!

God bless you my friend!

I love you! I truly truly do!

Speak soon...

Purpose in Life

Hey there!

How are you doing today?

I hope and pray that you are alright and enjoying life.

Today, I want to ramble (I do ramble) about purpose in life. The entire reason I blog and ramble is that I want to help people relieve any emotional heartache. I have suffered emotionally, severely, and deeply, so I know what it's like to live in misery. Misery is something I would never wish on anyone, and I'd do nearly anything to relieve another person.

The opposite of misery is happiness, joy, and vitality for life, and I have discovered this coming through pain and sorrow.

The purpose of life is spiritual expansion. I know with all my heart and soul that we are eternal spiritual beings having a human experience, and this experience is for our spiritual expansion.

Spiritual expansion is about developing a connection to God so that we may live above our human nature and through our spiritual nature.

When we connect to God and live more spiritually, we can and will find happiness, joy, and vitality. From this place of spirituality, we can and do discover our value and worth.

My purpose is to connect to God, which will expand my living from a more spiritual place. When I connect to God, He guides and inspires me. This connection allows me to learn spiritual things and listen to the weary soul from a compassionate place. This connection also allows me to have more charity for myself and others, to love unconditionally, and to understand the sufferings of my brothers and sisters in this world.

We are all brothers and sisters because we are all spiritual children of God.

I feel compelled to blog for one reason and one reason only: I could lift one person from despair. I will write my little ramblings, hoping that a person can be relieved. I know that when we lift another by relieving their misery, we lift them to a better place in life, even for that moment. Life is lived from moment to moment, and I pray that you and I will live that moment connected to God with happiness, joy, and vitality.

My connection to God has shown me unconditional love for life, others, and myself, which is my value and worth. Learning this value and worth leads to great power and purpose. If I could help you and point you in the direction of connecting to God, I know without a doubt that you can and will discover power and purpose in your value, and worth. This is the highest value and worth because it comes from within the soul, where God resides, and not from anyone else on this earth.

That's all.

Except, I love you!

Take care.

God bless.

Elizabeth
