Thank You!

Hey there!

Hi!

How are you, my friend?

Praying a prayer in my heart that you are alright, you are doing fine, you are discovering how brilliant and beautiful you are, and you are connecting to God for your comfort and strength.

I just want to thank you so much for the email because I don't always answer them. But I want you to know I appreciate the comments.

I get three kinds of emails: appreciation, gratitude, and thankful emails, the questions seeking answers emails, and the complaint or criticism about my blog or post emails.

It is my heart's desire to convey to you that I genuinely appreciate each and every email. Usually, I only answer the ones that ask a question, and I want to answer because I honestly want to help.

So thank you!

I've been blogging for over ten years, and many people are reading this particular blog. I know that God wants me to continue to help others in any way I can. Relieving despair or any kind of emotional harm or hurt is very important to God, and it's important to me too.

I know without a doubt that God wants you to be happy, and I do too.

I know without a doubt that you can lift yourself from any hurt you are suffering, and I want to help you do that, even if it's just a little bit at a time.

Thank you for the email! It's encouraging to me and just confirms my belief that relieving any emotional anguish is imperative, even if it's through a blog.

That's it...

Except, I love you!

God bless...

Take care...

Destress Your Life with Awareness

Destressing your life with awareness is what I'd like to ramble about this day.

Hello, there, my lovely friend. How are you? Happy Memorial Day.

Did you know that you could, and should, wake up on the right side of the bed every day?

I have no idea where that saying came from, but if you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, it implies that you are in a bad mood, and so if you wake up on the right side of the bed, you are in a good mood.

You could wake up on the right side of the bed because you are the chooser of your choices.

You should wake up on the right side of the bed because you should do things for yourself! You are the most crucial choice-maker of your life!

The best way to wake up, in my personal opinion, is with awareness on the right side of the bed.

Awareness is living in a space where you make moment-to-moment decisions based on appropriate thought processes by being fully present in the now. The opposite of attention would be reacting to situations out of sheer habit.

Do you wake up and struggle out of bed?

Or...

Do you wake up and jump out of bed?

To wake up, struggle, and/or jump out of bed is just a way of reacting out of habit.

What if you woke up and just lay there appreciating life, others, and yourself for a little while?

Every morning, believe it or not, when I wake up, I lay there for at least thirty minutes appreciating the warm, soft bed that I am lying in and whatever else I can think of that I am grateful for. This is one of my ways of cultivating awareness and how I start my day.

Depending on what day it is and what I must do, sometimes I wake up and lay in bed for a couple hours contemplating, reading, or both. I do this because I know that it is my duty to begin the day with awareness on the right side of the bed, and so I do.

You may say, "Who in the hellackey has time to do all that stuff in the morning?" My answer is that it only takes a moment to bring yourself to full awareness and begin the day with appreciation.

How often have you been in a bad mood in the morning and just went about your day in that mood, not knowing why or doing anything about it?

That moodiness used to be a massive part of my life, but now, I will not allow it. You do not have to enable it if it is a part of your life.

If I am ever in a not-so-great mood, I notice it and ask myself, "Why are you in this not-so-great mood?" That question alone provokes awareness and then destresses me.

Whenever we are in a bad mood, we are not enjoying life, which is supposed to be joyous. Life is supposed to be fun.

This is what I am trying to say...

You can and will destress your life further if you develop the habit of waking up on the right side of the bed with a few moments of awareness and appreciation.

This is what I really want you to hear...

If you are stressed out, I mean really stressed out, you can relieve your stress a little bit more each day if you choose to wake up, consciously become aware and appreciate the soft, warm bed that you are in, and think of things you are grateful for, and/or eager for in this day.

Even if you are only a little stressed, this awareness and appreciation practice will allow you to increase your feeling-good status. And who in the heck wouldn't want to improve their feeling-good status?

You are the most critical person in your life.

You can make yourself a priority by being good to yourself first thing in the morning.

You can start every day on the right side of the bed and begin your day with joy.

And that is how you destress your life with awareness.

Have a wonderful day!!!

I love you... You know I do...

REMEMBER YOUR DREAM

Hello, my friend!

Thought I'd share a compelling motivational video with you today. It's Joel Osteen speaking the words of faith and hope about dreams.

I believe we all have dreams, and this video is too good not to share.

Someone sent it to me via email, and I listened, it really touched my heart, and I hope it touches yours as well.

Enjoy...

I have a dream, and I believe I live it daily.

My dream is to focus on being the most effective destress specialist in the Universe! I kid you not!

To be the most impactful destress specialist, I must be effective and successful at what I do, and what I do is bring people from crisis and despair to a place of calm, certainty, and confidence. I do it every day in one way or another, and I am so grateful for the opportunity.

Living in a place of gratitude and feeling good is the outcome of living my dream, which is what I want for everyone. I want everyone to appreciate and feel joy; we can by focusing on and moving towards our dreams.

I pray that you enjoyed the video and feel inspired to remember your dream.

I love you...

Enjoy your weekend...

Ungrateful me...

Hello my friend. How are you this fine lovely Sabbath Day?

My prayer is that you are doing super duper alley ooper.

What I wanna blog about this day is being ungrateful.

When I was younger I use to be so ungrateful. That's right, the ungrateful me.

Now, at the age of fifty, I am so grateful that I cry on a daily basis when I have gratitude in my heart. Quite often I cry two or three times a day. Some say it is hormones but I say that I finally know what gratitude is.

For many years I have found several things to be grateful for but my heart has been completely full of gratitude for the last two or three years. I have no idea what happened to me but something touched me where I just fell in love with people, places, things, and life.

It is my humble opinion that this love and thankfulness is from my meditation practice.  I have been meditating since 1999 and the more I meditate the more aware I become.

My meditation has allowed me to be aware of my ungratefulness, or my thanklessness, and to be more grateful.

My meditation has allowed me to focus on the better things in life.

When I was so ungrateful I was always focusing on what was wrong, I was caught up in my anxiety and that didn't allow me to be fully present right here, right now.

Now I am so grateful, everywhere I go people are so loving, so kind to me, and they didn't use to be that way so it must be my gratitude.

Nearly everyday, I get free things all the time, I swear.

The other day I went to a sandwich shop and the guys gave me three free chocolate cookies.  The day before that I was at this facility, which had this coffee machine, I put my money in it to get a hot coco, and the money came back out so I got a free hot coco.

I don't know if you wanna call that karma or what but, you can ask anybody who hangs out with me, or has known me for a long time, and they will tell you that people give things to me A LOT, like all the time.

This free stuff never use to happen for me but I believe it's because I live in a place of gratitude. The emotion of gratitude is so close to the emotion of love, and this emotion has given to me the openness to fall in love with everything and everybody.

This love allows me to always have a big smile on my face, and to nearly always be very playful.

I do not say this to brag, I say this because I want to teach the world to meditate.

I want to teach the world to meditate because before my meditation practice I was the most angry, anxious, and ungrateful person but now I am just the opposite.

The reason my life has evolved is because I did the work! In order to be who you want to become, you must do the work on you, and your life.

Meditation is a mental exercise.

When we practice awareness, we become aware of our thoughts.

When we become aware of our thoughts we can choose them more wisely and govern them.

When we govern our thoughts we govern our emotions.

When we do not govern our emotions we are on autopilot with the habitual emotions we have, which often have momentum. The emotions I am talking about are the unhealthy ones like anger, irritability, moodiness, and sadness.

All emotions on autopilot can develop great momentum to where they put us in bliss or in burnout.

The reason I am sharing this is, I was crying this morning because I was so grateful for the kindness that people show me and I am so grateful to be able to serve The Lord everyday.

When I was crying this morning, I was thinking about how I cry two or three times a day because my heart is full of gratitude when before I started meditating I use to cry two or three times a day because of anxiety and depression.

I know that I do not have anxiety or depression anymore. I don't even have nervousness or sadness anymore. I don't have anger, anxiety, frustration, or any of that and it is because I meditate, which is my mental exercise that allows me to release the negative emotions that do not belong to me.

If there was anything I could tell you to help you destress yourself it would be, learn to meditate, learn to relax, and practice it everyday.  This learning and practicing will develop a calm, certain, and confident you.

This practice will give you much more faith in life and others versus doubt, fear, and worry, which is anxiety.

I would love to teach the world to meditate so that everyone can know gratitude so much that they are crying everyday like me.

I just wanted to share these thoughts with you because I know that there is a lot of crisis, despair, and devastation out there, I have lived crisis, despair, and devastation, and I have been assisting people with crisis, despair, and devastation for many years.

When the crisis, devastation, and despair come, I know everything is going to be okay, I know that it is all a part of life, I know I can be grateful for the things that are going right rather than the things that are going wrong, and I know this through the practice of meditation.

If you are having a hard time, learn to meditate. You will be so grateful you did but don't believe me! Try it yourself and see how it will evolve your safety, satisfaction, and security for life.

That's all I got...

I love you, I truly do.

Destress Your Day!

Well, hello there my friend!!!  How are you this wonderful day?  I hope you are super duper!  ;-)

I hope you are not too busy!

Life can be very busy.  We can be in a hurry, starting with the moment we wake up.

A very stressful habit we may have is getting up and then rushing to go to or get to whatever it is we have for the day.  A successful practice, the opposite of a stressful habit, may be waking up with an attitude of gratitude, instead of an attitude of rush.

We, my friend, can destress ourselves by creating a habit of waking up grateful.  Rather than waking up, and jumping up, we can wake up, take a deep breath, and think of how grateful we are for things in our life.

Do you love your life? If you love your life, ignore any of my advice because, if you love your life, there is no reason to destress yourself.

I love my life! I am exhilarated and excited about every day.

Every morning, I wake up, take a deep breath, and recognize that I love my life.  I love my bed, my sheets, my pillows, my room, my home, my town (well it's more like a village which is smaller than a town, lol), my family, my friends, my business, and what I do, every day.

The reason I do this is that appreciation is the truth, and if I am not appreciating, I am taking all of my benefits and blessings for granted.

I know people who are extremely grateful and have abundant lives and I know people who have everything who blame, complain, and criticize, and they are miserable and unhealthy.

Appreciation does wonderful things.  It creates thoughts and feelings that make lives joyful!

What a wonderful way to start the day.  It is my belief that we should always start our day off on the right foot.  We can start the day off by getting up on the right side of the bed.

We are totally capable of starting our day off with intention versus starting our day off on autopilot.

My friend, let's take responsibility for our lives by taking responsibility for our days.  Let's begin our day with intention and wake up grateful every day.

There are so many things we can be grateful for.  We can be grateful for the little things like our bed, our sheets, and our pillows.  We can be grateful for the bigger things like the air that we breathe, the legs we walk on, the eyes that we see with, the nose that we smell with, the fingers that we touch, the mind that we think with, and the heart that we love with.

We can be grateful for the things like the faces that we get to kiss, the people that we get to love, and the people who love us.

I am so very grateful for you, this blog, the internet, and all the good things in this world.

There are so many great things in this world!

I am grateful to help thousands of people destress themselves because when you destress yourself you change your thoughts, feelings, actions, and attitudes of stressful habits to successful practices.

If you are unhappy, something must be done.  If you are not living life with happiness, joy, energy, and vitality then you could do something about it, if you want to.

Appreciation is the truth and this reality can be anyone's choice, first thing in the morning to destress one's day.

God bless you, my dear reader... Take good care...

Thank you for visiting my blog and until the next post...don't forget to have fun and be playful.

Gratitude

Hello!!!

I hope you are having the best day ever.

The reason so many people are stressed out, anxious, depressed, or angry is because of what they focus on.  So many people focus on what they don't have instead of what they do have.  So many people compare themselves to others and it makes them feel not so good about themselves and life.

I feel very happy and grateful everyday of my life because I try to focus on what is good.

I am grateful for my son, the most handsomest, most intelligent, most fun person in the world.

I am grateful for my parents who are the most loving people in the world.

I am grateful for my home, my brothers, their wives, and their children.

I am grateful for my many many friends all over the world.

I am grateful for the fun I have each and every day.

Sure, there are lots of things that I can point out that are wrong about the people and things on my list, that I am grateful for, but I try not to because then it would make me not so happy as I am.

Today, my friend, choose gratitude!  Choose to focus on the things you are grateful for!  Choose to wake up grateful every morning, remind yourself through out the day, and go to sleep grateful and watch yourself become an expert at destressing yourself.

Have a super duper day!!!  Don't forget to have fun and be playful!!!

Until next post...

Elizabeth
