HOW DO I DEFINE SUCCESS?

Hey there, how's your week?  Pretty good?  I hope so!  Mine is very productive.  Busy, busy, busy.

Did you read my last post, How do I become successful?  I got a couple of lovely emails from individuals, asking me questions like, "what if I don't know how to define success?"  "What if I don't know what success is?"  "If I don't have a definition for success, how do I create one?"  And, "how do I find what success means to me?"

These are all very legitimate questions and so, instead of answering each email individually, I thought I would write a post about it.

If you do not have a clear picture of success in your mind, the best place to start is by discovering what it is that you want out of life.  Easier said than done, eh?

The best question to ask yourself is...  "If my life were perfect, what would it look like?"  Put the answer to this question down on paper.  Ask yourself this question and then just start writing as much as you can.

Write things like, where you would live, who you would live with, how you would look, what you would do everyday of your life, what you would do for a living, and delineate how a perfect day would be for you.  In other words, list what you would do from the beginning of the day until the end.

In addition, write down things that you do, right now, that make you feel good, and write down things that you would like to do that make you happy.

After you have done this exercise then pick the most important things, to you, that you have written down, see if you can define success from your list, and then focus, organize, and produce.  That's it!

Hope that helps.

Have a great day, speak soon.

Big Hugs...

Elizabeth
