I Want to Feel Good!

Wanting to feel good is what I would like to discuss this day.

Hello my friend. How are you? Are you alright? How are you feeling? I hope you are doing great and feeling fantastic but, if you are not then this post is for you.

The only thing I truly ever want is to feel good. I have no idea how that comes across or if people even get it but, when I really think about it, feeling good is what I strive for. Feeling good is, in my humble opinion, what everybody strives for.

If someone had said to me, twenty-five years ago, "All I wanna do is feel good." I honestly think it would have gone in one ear and out the other like, "blah, blah, blah." Or maybe I would have agreed and just let it go.

What I am trying to say is, at my young age of fifty-one I contemplate appreciation, gratitude, and love a lot, and back in my younger youth I would have never pondered anything because I was too busy feeling bad by way of anger, anxiety, and depression.

Do you think about feeling good? Do you think about feeling better? If you do not but, you want to then I'd like to plead with you to do so, especially if you are too busy feeling bad.

We can feel better at anytime and anywhere we just gotta practice it.

In my younger years, I was so good at feeling lousy because that is what I was practicing. Then, one day, I began to notice the things that made me feel good and I want to share them with you in hopes that you may have the desire of practicing ways to feel better.

First, I must warn you! So...

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!

The reason I warn you is because when I talk about a certain subject people tend to unsubscribe to my blog. The subject I am referring to is God.

The thing is, I must talk about God because He is the secret to my success. Not only is He the secret to my success, He is also the secret to me being able to help people over come crisis and despair.

There! ~wink, wink~

Seventeen years ago I do believe I was in the hell of my mind because I was having the worst time of my life. Seriously, I was struggling emotionally, and on my knees much of the time.

One day, I was at the very depths of my despair, which happened so many times I couldn't even begin to count. For some reason, I began to read the scriptures, and I must of read them for hours. When I was done reading, I felt light and alive. I felt as though the weight of the world was lifted off me.

It may have been in that very moment that I noticed when I did certain things I felt better. So, I started to do specific things knowing I felt better.

Since then, I have read my scriptures everyday.

Another thing I do, which is the bestestest (I know it's not a word, I just want to emphasize) thing I could ever do for myself is attend church every Sunday. No matter where I am at, I try my hardest to make it to church because there is no thing in this world that makes me feel better. No thing!

I learn so much at church, and I often learn a lesson that I can, and do focus on during the week. Whatever it is that sticks out to me that was taught in church remains in my thoughts, and I focus on it.

Finally, the other thing I do that helps me feel better is I imagine my hopes and dreams. I'm a dreamer, and I love to use my imagination. Therefore, I choose to think of the things I would really love to see come to pass and you know what happens? I begin to think of ways to make it happen. Then when I start moving towards my desires I feel really really good about myself and life.

The imagining of my hopes and dreams has made so many of my dreams come true, and it has increased my ability to feel better, and better with super momentum.

So, if you want to feel better, begin to do the things, go to the places, and think the thoughts that make you feel good. That's my sermon.

Maybe reading the scriptures and going to church will help you feel better, and maybe it won't. But I am confident that you have an idea of whatever it is that makes you feel good.

For sure try imagining your hopes and dreams, and think about the desires you have that you would really like to see happen. Do this often, and you will focus forward and feel better. Even if you don't focus forward your greatest desires will evolve as you see them often, and that alone will make you feel better.

I know what it's like to feel horrible, and I know what it's like to never feel that way again. If I am able to overcome feeling not so great all of the time and create a habit of always feeling wonderful then anyone can, trust me! When I say anyone, I am talking about you.

If you find it unimaginable to do any of the things that I have suggested because you do not believe you are able to feel better then just desire to believe you can. Desire the belief that you can feel better! If that's all you can do, that's all you can do, and at least it's something. Much of the time we really have to believe we can do something before we can do it.

God bless you my friend! May God bless you to feel better more often so that you may feel good all of the time! It's totally possible! I know without a doubt that it is.

Have a great weekend...
