I'M IN LOVE! I'M IN LOVE! I'M IN LOVE!!!

Did the title get your attention ;)

I feel so in love with life right now! RIGHT NOW!!! Things are happening, and I just love it! ALL OF IT!

When I feel this happy, I feel successful.

It is my humble opinion that success means happiness. Wouldn't you agree?

The ability to enjoy life no matter what is happening in your life is true success.

BEAUTY IS ALL AROUND US!

HEAVEN IS ON EARTH!

Something unfortunate is happening to me. My son is leaving, moving away :((((( boo hoo hoo

I am really sad about it, and I cry every day, like three or four times a day. But that is totally okay because it is absolutely normal for me to cry and be sad. It is absolutely normal for my son to move away. They all do, well, most of them ;)

Even though I am sad about it, I have many things to be grateful for. I am thankful for my family, friends, doggies, and the blessing to help people EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE, and I am thankful for my close relationship with God. I am incredibly grateful that my son will sooner or later (hopefully sooner than later) get married and give me grand kiddies ;)

If I focus on my son leaving and how sad it is making me, I will miss all of the great things in my life.

Whatever we focus on is just a habitual way of thinking. If we have a habit of focusing on what is wrong and what we don't have, we will feel depressed. If we have a habit of focusing on what is excellent, we can feel delighted.

So many people have the habit of looking at what is wrong in their life, and it causes misery. This is precisely why quieting the mind is so important.

If we quiet our minds, we can notice the mood of our minds. The attitude of our thoughts is what causes our happiness or unhappiness.

The mood of our ideas is our habitual way of thinking. For example, anger. Some outraged people are out there, and it's just a habitual way of reacting. Anger is nothing but a habit. I know this for a fact.

Many, many moons ago, I used to get angry all the time. My excuse was that I had reasons. This person did this to me, or that person didn't do what they said they would. BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...

We can have all the reasons in the book, but the fact is that anger is nothing but a habit that anyone can get rid of. I did, and people do it all the time. When I get angry now, I start to laugh at myself. I say, "Elizabeth, why are you getting so angry?"  and then laugh. Yes, I talk to myself all the time ;)  So now I have the habit of laughing at myself when I even think about getting mad, which is a new habit replacing the angry one.

I am saying that if you quiet your mind, you will notice the mood of your mind, and once you know the attitude of your mind, it will help you understand your unhappiness.

My son always reminds me, "Mom, you are the thinker of your own thoughts."  This means you can be in charge of how you think instead of allowing your mind to run on autopilot like it maybe has for years.

Your mind, body, and soul are your most powerful assets. We all come to this world with a body, mind, and soul. The only thing we leave this earth with is our mind and soul. ;) So let them be happy ;)

Quiet your mind...

Notice the mood of your mind...

Then change that mood if it is causing you unhappiness. Take charge of that mood. That, my friend, is what destressing yourself is all about.

Be in love with life ;)  YOU GOT THE POWER!

Have a great day and don't forget...

Have fun and be playful.

Love you...
