Standing in Your Power

Hey, hey! Happy Sunday...

Standing in your power is what I'd like to ramble about this day...

It's my only offspring's birthday today...

He is amazing and fun! I love him so much.

Do you know he taught me about God and love? God and love are the same things, so basically, he taught me the truth about God.

God and love are the sources of our power.

Even if you do not believe in God, you can believe in love, can't you?

Therefore, whether you say, God or love, that is where our power lies.

Stay with me.

Read these bible verses, and I'll explain more about how standing in your power will destress you.

Not just destress you, but heal the hurt you may be suffering, and lift you a little bit if you need it. Sometimes we just need a little lifting when we are stressed.

"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." ~1 John 4:7-8, Holy Bible, KJV

"And we have known and believed the love that God hath for us. God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in Him." ~1 John 4:16, Holy Bible, KJV

Wait... there's more.

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." ~ 1 John 4:18, Holy Bible, KJV

"Let us love one another..." not hate ~wink~

"He that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in Him."

"There is no fear in love..."

Our power is our connection to God, and we connect to God by loving life, others, and ourselves. Fear is the opposite of faith. Therefore, there is faith in love because there is no fear in love.

Human conditioning trains us to believe other people are responsible for our happiness, which is not necessarily true. We cannot and aren't supposed to control how other people behave, but we can understand that we are all imperfect and have a unique path, so we can love other people for living their life the best they can.

Although we cannot control other peoples' behavior, no matter how much we pitch a bitch, we can cultivate and develop governing our own actions and beliefs.

Here in lies our power that we love, and it takes exquisite focus on the good things in life, the good things in others, and the good things in ourselves.

There are people of all colors, nationalities, careers, religions, and political views, and some are happy, and some are miserable. The result is all about the focus.

If you are unhappy, you may want to look at your connection to God. Meaning do you love more or hate more? Meaning do you have faith, or are you fearful?

Faith feels like love. Being connected to God feels like being in love.

Fear feels like hate. Being in a place of fear is the opposite of faith. The greatest fear has to be hate if perfect love casteth out fear.

Okay, so, back to standing in your power.

Your power is being connected to God, who is love, and we live in this power by using the authority and free agency that God has given us to choose what we will contemplate, focus on, and practice.

Seriously, my friend, we contemplate, focus, and practice all day long because, as human beings, we are focusing habitual mechanisms. You, my friend, are either focusing on desire or, by default.

People practice anger, anxiety, depression, and despair by default, or they practice calm, confidence, happiness, and joy by desire.

We have the authority to choose, to choose God, to choose love, and to choose our power. Sounds simple but may not be easy, so we practice.

One thing anyone can do to be more consistent in standing in their power is to develop a more personal relationship with God. Seriously, He is real, and He is there for us. We can connect to Him by contemplating and focusing on faith, and love, all day, every day, and every moment.

"Wisdom is the principal thing: therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding." ~ Proverbs 4:7, Holy Bible, KJV

Maybe you believe these words you read, and perhaps you don't. The thing is, I know, with all my heart and soul, that God is real. He has saved my eternal soul because I believed enough to learn, listen, and I am still understanding.

If you want relief from whatever you suffer from in this temporary human experience, with all thy getting, get understanding, and the best way to do that is to talk and walk with God every second, every minute, every hour, every day, of every year.

I've been talking and walking with God for many years, and life just gets better and better and better. There is no other way that I know of.

If you want relief right now, try this...

Every day, first thing in the morning and the last thing in the evening, get on your knees and let God know you believe and need help believing. Pour your heart out to Him, and then all week long, every day, keep a conversation with Him in your heart and mind. Practice listening for guidance and inspiration from a place of love for yourself because His guidance and inspiration will always be loving.

This is the faith with works because faith without works is dead. Faith with works is alive!

Do this for yourself!

If you want to. ~wink~

Do this for your future.

In my experience, a person can cultivate and develop a relationship so close to God that he or she will never need guidance from human sources on spiritual things. An individual can always turn to God and receive guidance and inspiration from Him if he or she listens, talks, and walks in regular practice.

Sound crazy? Maybe, but I am living proof.

I am not perfect by any means, but I am more connected to God than ever, and that has always been my greatest desire.

Believe in God, not just on Sunday and when you are suffering but every moment. If you aren't there, it's gonna take some practice and a never give up attitude because it's a lifelong journey.

This lifelong journey can be bitter if you never use your power, or it can be delightful if you practice your authority to choose all day long, every single day, and make it your most pressing habit that it is the only addiction you have.

I believe and know, with all my heart and soul, that if a person makes their relationship with God the most important thing, God can and will show you understanding that will make all fear and negative emotions disappear.

God bless you, my dear sweet reader.

Stay tuned for more exercises to destress yourself. In other words, activities pointing toward ways to get closer to God. God is perfect love that casteth out fear, and stress is fear.

I want to point my brothers and sisters, of this world, towards a firm place of faith and love, talking and walking with God. With all my heart and soul, I know there are people out there asking for and desiring this because I was one of them. God has answered my asking and continues to do so.

I love you...

You may say, you can't love me, you don't know me...

I love you because I am unconditional love.

You are unconditional love, perfect love, we all are, and some of us may have forgotten.

We were born of God, and God is perfect love, unconditional love.
