How To Destress Yourself; The Third Step

Hello my friend!

One of the greatest things about life is that we have freedom to choose our thoughts, feelings, actions, and attitude.  No matter who we are or what we are going through, we can choose what to think, what to feel, how to act, and our attitude.

The first step to destress yourself is creating awareness, the second step is the desire to create happiness, energy, and vitality, and the third step is to take responsibility for your thoughts, feelings, actions, and attitude.

A client once told me, "You have to be perfect to be able to control your thoughts and feelings."  The truth is, you have to be aware that you can control your thoughts and feelings in order to control your thoughts and feelings.

The ability to control what you think, feel, and how you act creates your attitude.  And the ability to control what you think, feel, how you act, and your attitude is totally possible and it is my belief that people don't do this because we weren't taught this theory.

You are the only thinker of your thoughts!  If I told you to think of the person you love most in this world, you would think of that person right away, which is you controlling your thoughts.

You are the only feeler of your feelings!  If I told you to think of the person you love most in this world and imagine that you are hugging that person, you would feel love right away, which is you controlling your feelings.

You are the only actor of your actions!  If I told you to think of the person you love most in this world, imagine that you are hugging this person, make it a goal to find this person and hug them (for a very very long time), and you did it then you would be controlling your actions.

Sounds simple, may sound silly, but I want to explain to you that we can control our thoughts, feelings, actions, and attitude.  If we don't it is because we never learned that we can and how we do it.  If we don't do this it is because we don't practice it.

You may be in your twenties, in your thirties, in your forties, in your fifties, or in your sixties and if you haven't had the habit of creating your thoughts, feelings, actions, and attitudes you can start right now.  RIGHT HERE!  RIGHT NOW!

It sounds simple but it is not necessarily easy.  What ever age you are, you have that many years of the habit of not taking control and therefore, it may take some time to create a habit on how to take control.

So, the third step to destressing yourself (your life) is to take responsibility for your thoughts, feelings, actions, and attitude!  Have thoughts of faith in yourself, others, and in life.  Have feelings of confidence in yourself, others, and life.  Have actions of certainty that you can obtain your goals in life.  Have an attitude of faith, certainty, and confidence.

That is what destressing yourself is all about.  It is about faith, certainty, and confidence in yourself, others, and in life.  The opposite, doubt, fear, and worry towards yourself, others, and life is stress.  Do you see?

Take the third step and take responsibility for your thoughts, feelings, actions, and attitude so that you can begin to destress yourself.

Until next post, have a super duper day, and don't forget to have fun and be playful!!!
