The Most Important Scripture

Hello my dear friend.

Insomuch as I am on a meditating and memorizing scripture phase, I'd like to discuss, what I believe to be, the most important bible verse.

"Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment." ~Matthew 22:35-38, Holy Bible, KJV

This must be the most important scripture for us, if Jesus says it is the first and great commandment. This commandment, in my humble opinion, is the way to spiritual expansion.

So what does it mean to love God? God, is perfect unconditional love, therefore could we not strive to love Him perfectly and unconditionally?

Unconditional love is without conditions. Conditional love has hate. When a person needs conditions in order to love someone, and the conditions aren't present, the absence of that love could be discontent, dislike, or even hate.

What does it mean to love someone with all thy heart, soul, and mind?

In my opinion, the heart signifies emotion, and love, or it could mean life. The heart is what gives us human life. The soul denotes the spiritual being, and the mind indicates the beliefs, and thoughts. These are the elements of our existence. We are emotional, living, thoughtful, and spiritual beings.

In order to love with the entire heart, soul, and mind, is to love with all the body, emotion, spirit, and thoughts.

The body, emotions, spirit, and thoughts encompass our full capabilities when we live from the fruit of the spirit of who we really are.

When we love someone, we want their approval. This is very much a part of our spirit. Think about how much we want our parents' approval when we are young, and as we become parents, we want our offspring's approval as well.

When we love someone, we want to be with them, believe in them, and be their best friend. A child, wants to be with, and believes in their parent(s). A child wants not much more than best friendship with his or her parent(s).

When we love someone, we have compassion for, and cooperate with them.

When we love someone, we want to learn from them, and listen to them.

When we love someone, we want to be loyal to them.

When we love someone, we want to please them and understand them.

Ponder on these things!

Is it not true?

In my last post, I discussed the scripture that describes how I am living my life right now. It is the scripture on meditation, and what, quite possibly, is the most instructive scripture for the human experience.

If you didn't read the last post, the scripture is, as follows:

"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that it is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." ~Joshua 1:8, Holy Bible, KJV

In my last post, I also gave suggestions on meditating, and memorizing scripture.

If we memorize, and meditate upon the most important scripture, with means, by the most instructive scripture, I believe with all my heart and soul, we will level up spiritually, big time!

What say you?

Our mission, for the next four days, should we choose to accept it, will be to memorize the scripture, Matthew 22:35-38, Holy Bible, KJV, which is quoted at the beginning of this blog post.

In addition, using the instruction given in the scripture above, Joshua 1:8, Holy Bible, KJV. It will also be helpful to follow the five suggestions given in the last post on, Destressing Peaceful Practice.

The other day, I spoke to an Ordained Minister, from Houston Texas, who happens to be a United States Marine, and he said, to me, the things happening now are entirely spiritual. He said, everything the whole world is experiencing is spiritual. He did not say a word about politics, race, or religion. He is a black man that calls me sister, and I believe him to be my brother.

We are all in this together, and many people know this, and are reaching for God. I believe that those who seem uncooperative in anyway, are asking for inner peace, power, value, and worth. I believe everyone is reaching for God. We are all just striving to get there in our own unique way, with what we've been given in this life thus far.

These spiritual exercises I give to you, I give to me. They are spiritual! They will create spiritual behaviors, beliefs, emotions, and thoughts that will develop inner peace.

Some people are begging for inner peace! God gives inner peace! How do I know? I was the most weary soul I knew because of the conditioning, and experiences that I had. Now, I practice inner peace by connecting to God, and I help other weary souls do the same.

Let us train up in spiritual practices that will help us level up even more, shall we?

One person connected to God is more powerful than millions who are not. Let us level up, connect to God, even more, and live in our power.

May God bless you my dear friend, with all the comfort and strength in your body, heart, mind, and soul.

My dear reader...

We got this!
