Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

Hello dear reader!

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction is what I'd like to discuss with you this day.

How are you doing? My prayer is that you are finding joy in the journey.

Do you ever feel like something is missing in your life? Maybe you have everything anyone could ever want like, happiness, health, love, magnificent relationships, and wealth. Yet, you still feel like something is missing.

Years ago, I felt very empty at times, even though I had everything, and yet I still felt empty, like something was missing. Looking back, I should have been very satisfied. Don't get me wrong, I was happy much of the time. For goodness sake, I had everything anyone could, would, and should need and want.

Also looking back, I had anger, anxiety, depression, and despair. My energy was very split because when I had fun in front of me, I was occupied and happy. But, when I was alone, I wallowed in negative emotions.

There are so many variables to my past happiness and misery, but one thing stands out, and that is I was missing something.

That something was a quiet connection to God, and I slowly gained it by meditation practice. After meditating for twenty one years, my connection to God is clear, and I feel complete, without any emptiness.

The thing I think I was missing was me. What I mean by that is my full alertness and awareness to the present moment. The anger, anxiety, depression, and despair came from, in my opinion, a racing mind. This racing mind is a disconnection from God, and myself.

Remember the scripture...

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and love, and a sound mind." ~2 Timothy 1:7, Holy Bible, KJV

The spirit of power is emotional, mental, and physical, is it not? Truly a successful life of spiritual expansion begins mentally. The school of life is a mindful ninja practice into spirituality.

All this ramble is for the persuasion of mindfulness based stress reduction, which is spiritual expansion, said in different words.

Think about it for a second. Mindfulness is a practice of alertness and awareness to the present moment, which gives safety and security. A racing mind is all about what one needs to do in the future, and what happened in the past.

A person really is missing if he or she is in the future or past. How can anyone enjoy life when he or she is missing.

To practice mindfulness based stress reduction, is to practice, into permanence, complete awareness of the environment, people, safety, and security.

Mindfulness is complete presence, meditation, and quieting the mind.

Mindfulness based stress reduction, perfects, through permanent practice, inner peace.

If you feel like something is missing in your life, especially if you have everything you could ever ask for, or if you are dissatisfied with everything in your life, try the exercise that follows.

Every morning, first thing, and every evening, after you lay your head on your pillow to fall asleep, practice the following.

Step one: inhale slowly through your nose, filling your lungs to capacity, and then exhale through your mouth. Do this gently, and slowly.

Step two: as you inhale and exhale, consciously focus on following your breath in and out. This brings you to the present moment.

Step three: as you exhale, imagine all of the tension leaving your body through the exhale, and feel your entire body give way to gravity and relaxation.

Step four: consciously focus on following your breath in and out, and just feel, and notice, your heart beat, every so often. This breath and heart beat is life, and you are focusing on life, not in the thoughts of later today, tomorrow, or yesterday.

Step five: when a thought try's to come into your mind, whisper softly in your mind, "faith, patience, and trust." Know, and remember, mindfulness based stress reduction is literally practicing complete presence, which gives practice to faith, patience, and trust.

Step six: make it a conscious practice, into permanence, to bring yourself to this mindfulness based stress reduction throughout the day, especially at the beginning of any negative emotions that want to rise.

Step seven: do it for life! Never give up, and never stop! If you never stop, I believe, you will get better and better at life, and there shall be no bitter. That is how important I believe mindfulness practice is.

The most important thing to remember, in my opinion, is that our habits come by human conditioning. We are beings who have been conditioned into our present habits. The emotional emptiness, a person may feel, can, and will be replaced by feelings of calm, confidence, and fullness, if he or she, reconditions by practice. The only thing is, a person must do the work if he or she wants healthier habits.

Do you want calm?

Do you want confidence?

Would you like to believe in yourself more?

Would you like to feel more fulfilled?

If so, practicing, by desire, makes perfect permanence, my dear friend.

I know this is so.

I do not believe that calm, confidence, faith, patience, and trust comes by practicing split energy. As I mentioned above, my energy was split because I was allowing what was happening, around me, to govern my emotions rather than me governing my mindfulness.

This mindfulness, gives me connection to God, and it guides me and inspires me, moment by moment.

Although, I want more, and more out of life, I do not feel an emptiness.

It's alright to enjoy life, and want more.

It is hurtful to the self, in my opinion, to feel nothing is ever good enough, because you are the one missing in your life. It is also my humble opinion that when a person feels like something is missing, it is more likely their power that is missing, more than anything else.

When we don't have power, we feel powerless. I want, with all my might, and strength, to point the person, who wants more, towards the direction to know their power.

Why? Why on earth would I want to point a person, who wants more, in the direction to know their power? Because, when we discover our power, all negative emotions that creep up on a daily basis, fall away, and we are able to feel, and know God more.

If I could persuade the world to meditate, I would because I believe, with all my heart and soul, more people could, and would live in their power. More people could, and would, feel more fulfilled, and on purpose.

Praying for you, and your success, dear reader...

Praying for you, to never give up on you...

I won't!

That's all I got my dear friend...

Except, you know, I love...

I love you! You may think me ridiculous, but when you know who you really are, you will love like I do too.

God bless you dear sweet one!

Speak soon...
