Purpose

"Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money." ~Matthew 25:16-18, Holy Bible, KJV

Do you know this scripture?  Although this scripture is talking about money, isn't it ironic that the word 'talent' is in the translation?

This scripture always reminds me of those who live their purpose and prosper.

Look this scripture up and you will see that the person who hid their talent was afraid, and that is why he hid it.

Hey, hey.  How are you doing today? Praying you are okay... thought I forgot, didn't you! ~wink~ I'm kidding...

I'd like to ramble a little bit about purpose.

One of the most important things, while we are on earth, is finding and living our purpose.  The reason I say that is because when we find, know, and live our purpose amazing things happen for us.

I believe, with all my heart and soul that everyone has a unique purpose in this life, and living that purpose is being about our business and not in anyone else's. Our business is between Heavenly Father and us. Meaning, my business is between God and me, and your business is between God and you.

Another thing I believe, with all my heart and soul is, everyone on this God given earth has a unique purpose. This purpose is to help God's work go forward in our own individual way.

When I was very young, I knew, without a doubt, that I was meant to help others.  It wasn't until I moved on this belief that things brought me to know exactly what my purpose is.

My true purpose is to point people, who want guidance, and myself, in the direction of connecting to God so they/we may create, and live more faithful, fearless, and fruitful lives.

I do all of this through focus, by reading, researching, studying, and writing about God, faith, and love, which is the exact opposite of fear, and hate. The best part of all of this is my favorite things in life are God, faith, and love, and my favorite things to do are love, read, research, study, and write.

Faith and love is what this is all about.

We can learn to live with faith in life, others, and ourselves, and we can learn to love life, others, and ourselves.

If you think about it, I mean really think about it, we either love or hate and we either have faith or fear.  We love this or we hate that.  We believe we can do this or we believe we can't do that.

Fill in the blank!

Of course there are in betweens, or neutrals, where we don't feel either way about certain things but we are still somewhere on that continuum.

Where am I going with this?

Heck, I don't know but I do know if you live your purpose you will increase your love for, and faith in, yourself.  Also, your love for life will grow.  When you have a love for life, you destress yourself.

Every once in a while, I see this young gentleman at my local cafe.  He is a musician, and he is about music all week long.  He is so good at it, he is in demand.  I gotta tell you, he is one of the most happiest and easy going persons I know.  He is loving and kind, and I love, love, love when I see him because he is an inspiration to me and I really just enjoy talking to him.

When you look at him you could easily judge a book by the cover.  He dresses in jeans and a t-shirt, and he has quite a few (a lot of) tattoos.  I'm not saying that is bad, I'm saying, it goes to show you that you don't have to be in an expensive suit and tie to be successful.

This young man is happy, loves, and he makes good moolah, most likely because he knows and lives his purpose. This is success to me. Happiness, love, and financial stability.

Many people equate finances with success but if you aren't happy or in love, you aren't successful in my eyes, because loneliness and misery are a recipe for unhappiness, and unhealthiness.

Stress is the number one cause of every illness.

If I could teach the world to find and live their purpose I would because it creates happiness, health, self-confidence, and often wealth, which are very important ingredients in the recipe for success.

If I could change our school system to teach and encourage kids to find and live their purpose, I would.  Could you imagine how successful our society would be?

If we are not living our purpose we could be just living life, probably without happiness or at least fleeting happiness, and in the constant state of going nowhere, which is a very stressful place to be.

So, what I am trying to say is, you could destress yourself, and your life, if you live your purpose.  You may know what your purpose is, or you may not.  If you do know your purpose, and 'believe' you can't do it for a living, I would encourage you to at least work on it one hour a day.  When you do, you will feel better, and see amazing things happen.

If you don't know your purpose, I would encourage you to work on searching for what it is, at least one hour a day.  If you do this, I believe you will discover what it is and you will see amazing things happen.

What kind of amazing things you ask?

Excellent question!!!

The most important things that, I think, will happen is you will develop a love and passion that you have never felt before.  You will also develop a love for and a faith in yourself and life, that you may not have experienced before.  All these discoveries will add to and increase your energy, happiness, inspiration, and vitality.

You want to feel good most of the time?  Increase your energy, happiness, inspiration, and vitality!

If you have any questions at all, as far as your purpose goes, you can Google it.  It is amazing what information is at our finger tips.  How lucky we are to live at a time in history that allows us to get answers to our questions in less than a minute.

If you feel like you are in the constant state of going nowhere, you may be able to change that by looking for and/or living your purpose.  Feeling like you are in the constant state of going nowhere could cause anxiety (fear of the future) and/or depression (beliefs of not being good enough).

My friend, my dear friend, what I am trying to say, through all this rambling is, try living your purpose, if you don't already, and if you know what it is.  If you haven't yet found your purpose, look for it, and you will feel an excitement you may be missing.

This recommendation can, and will enhance one's love and joy for life. That is what destressing yourself is all about.

I believe, with all my heart and soul, that it is NOBODY'S business, to be in other peoples' business. I say that with all the kindness of my heart because, with all this time we have on our hands of late, people are resorting to junior high tactics of being busy bodies, when a person, could in fact, be about their own business.

I know that it is not anyone's purpose in this life to complain, criticize, demoralize, dramatize, or gossip about other peoples' business.

We all want to try our hardest to live our specific purpose, which is being about our own business. Our purpose, is being about God's business, in our own special way.

Wouldn't you agree?

Something to ponder...

Speak soon my dear friend...

BIG HUGS!
