FORMULA FOR SEVERE ANXIETY

Hello there my fine found beautiful friend ;0)

How are you this wonderful, most magnificent Monday?  I hope, with all my heart and soul, that you are doing absolutely, without any doubt, fantastico.

What a sensational weekend I had.  It was a fun filled, three day, wedding event for one of my best friends' daughter.  Wow!  What a great time I had.  I love, love, love weddings because everyone is so happy (well, almost everyone), and everyone is in a great, great, great mood.

During this amazing weekend, I got calls (texts actually) to serve some remarkable individuals, with severe anxiety.  Yes, I work on the weekends, especially when it is for someone in need.  Besides, my work is done via phone.

If you read my last post, UNDAUNTED, you know and understand that stress is high.  When stress is high, anxiety is high.  My number one read post right now, and this month is, ANGER, ANXIETY, OR DEPRESSION RULING YOUR LIFE?

With that in mind, I would like to write a pithy post on my formula for severe anxiety.  This is a list, in my humble opinion, of things that unquestionably must be done in order to eliminate anxiety.

Here we go...

1.  Increase your connection to God.

This is the number one thing we can do with any negative emotion because everything is spiritual, yuppers, all things in this whole wide universe are spiritual, PERIOD!  Most people that I speak to, and when I say most I mean 99.9%, believe in God, or some higher power.

The entire foundation of anxiety is a deep deep seeded fear of the future; fear that something really bad is going to happen, or that we are not going to be able to handle it (again, another humble opinion from what I have seen and my experiences only).

Our belief in the purpose of life, which is to live righteously, love fervently, learn incessantly, and return to our Heavenly Father, has a lot to do with the elimination of that fear.  If we increase our faith in the purpose of life, we can understand that Heavenly Father is watching over us every minute, of every hour, of every day, and then we become comforted.

If you struggle with anxiety, or not, increase your connection to God by praying morning, noon, and night.  Ask Him to help you have faith, and be comforted from your anxiety.  In addition, read your scriptures at least once a day.  Do these things, and just watch your anxiety subside.

2.  Meditation, affirmations, and visualizations every single day, at a minimum of twice a day.

When we meditate, do affirmations, and visualizations, we can evolve our mind from fear and anxiety, to faith and relaxation.  When we meditate, we quite our mind, and replace the habit of anxiety with relaxation.  Anxiety and relaxation are opposites.  When we say a positive affirmation, all day long, we replace the habit of negative thinking with positive thinking.  Finally, when we visualize our affirmation, we build the faith in our mind, and then we can delete our anxiety (aka fear).

3.  See your private medical doctor.

When we have anxiety, or depression, we should always, always see our private MD.  I believe deeply that anti anxiety medications help people with anxiety but, it is not the entire fix because we have to do the work.  We have to do the building of our mind and soul, which is what I talked about above.

I have been in the emergency field, which includes emotional emergencies, for over twenty years now, and I have talked literally thousands of people out of anxiety attacks.  One thing I know for sure is, most doctors will give you the medication to help but won't give you the cause or the solution, which is the deep subconscious beliefs, and ways to overcome those beliefs.

Well, there you have it, the pithy post on my formula for severe anxiety.  Listen up my friend, if you have severe anxiety, and you want a better life, a happier, joy filled life, you must do the work.  This is homework for life.

Every morning I role out of bed onto my knees to speak to Heavenly Father.  All day long, He is the one I consult, and every night before I go to bed, He is the last one I talk to.  Meditation, deep relaxation, affirmations, and visualizations are part of my life, every day Sugah!  I feel lucky, every day, all day long because I am connected to Heavenly Father, and I am very faithful, and relaxed inside.

Deep, deep down in my heart and soul, I believe, without a doubt, and know, with severe conviction, that happiness, certainty, and confidence comes from the daily homework that is done.  Just as easily, anxiety comes from the daily work of doubt, fear, worry.

That's it, my pithy post.

Have a great week, my friend.  I love you, and I pray for you.

Big Hugs...

Speak soon...

Don't forget!  Have fun!  Be Playful!
