WHAT IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD?

Hello my fine fellow friend!  ;0)  I hope you had the best weekend ever.  I sho did!  On Saturday I had the wonderful opportunity to speak to a group of women who happen to belong to the largest women's Christian group in the world.  It just so happens that I also belong to this group, and have for over 22 years.  For over 12 years I have been invited to speak to these women in different parts of Southern California.  It is my joy, and it is my passion to speak the words of destressing yourself, and it is even more of a joy to speak to Christian women, and I tell them that.

After I spoke on Saturday, three different individuals came up to me, at different times, and asked me, "What do you say to the person who doesn't believe in God?"

What an excellent question, I think.  First of all, when I help someone, I always ask them, after they tell me what they are going through, if they believe in God.  Most people do, even the people I talk to that are outside of the US.

But really, what if you do not believe in God?  How can I help the person when I speak so much about faith in God, faith in life, faith in others, and faith in yourself, when they are not a believer?

These are excellent questions, don't you think?

The answer is, I do the exact same thing with them as I would for a person who does believe in God.  The only problem is, the faith that they have, or can have, in life, others, and themselves is not as strong as it is for those with faith in God.
Keep in mind that fear is where stress comes from, and faith is the opposite of fear.  Please be advised, this is just the humble opinion of this stress specialist.  No statistical research involved, just experience.

The truth of the matter is, people who do not believe in God are the hardest one's to help because of the lack of foundation of having a belief in the purpose of life.  Again, just my opinion.

So, if you don't believe in God, this is what I would say to you, with nothing but love in my heart and soul for you...

Try it!  Try to believe like a believer and just see what wonderful things come your way.  I am serious about this.

Recently, I helped a medic who was going through serious stress, moments of despair, was at a breaking point, and had absolutely no belief in God whatsoever.  We had a discussion around the points of, how could there not be a God with the scriptures being around so long, and all the millions of people who believe with such conviction?  Only God could do something like that.  Only someone or something, not of this world, could make a book and stories in it remain for so long and with such a strong force behind it.

After our discussion, he went his own way, and months later, when I spoke to him again, he had changed his mind.  He now believes in God.  Why does he believe?  He believes because he tried it.  He tried God.  ;0)

How did he try God?  He took the time to talk to his Heavenly Father.  In essence, he pretended that he believed in God by talking to him and things happened in his life that were wonderful, and that gave him the testimony that there must be a God.  In addition, he found comfort in speaking to his Heavenly Father, and that is exactly what he is there for (well part of the reason).

What do you think about that?  I think it is brilliant!

My friend, if you do not believe in God, if you are having a hard time, and if you are in moments of despair, or not, talk to your Heavenly Father and just see what wonderful things happen in your life.  Trust me on this one.  It is at least worth the try, especially if you are at the breaking point in your life that is filled with stress.

What could it hurt?  What harm is there in it?  Your pride maybe?  No body needs to know because this is between you and HIM!

Remember, WITH GOD, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

Well, that's all I got for today.  Happy Monday!  I love you with all my heart and soul, I truly do.

Have a great week!  Have fun!  Be playful!  Enjoy your life my friend, because that is what Heavenly Father wants for you, and me too.

Big Hugs...
